Woot! Finally uploading some of my metalworking projects! x3 IMO, my absolute favorite ones! They're based off the four Avatar nation symbols in Avatar: The Last Airbender (Water, Earth, Fire, and Air) and were made by soldering two cut-out piece of metal together. X3
I'm very fond of how all these came out, fire especially! 8D They were all sold at Tekkoshocon for $25 except for Earth (most unpopular of the nations, boo! XD), but I think I'll be keeping that for myself. <3333 I be fond of it!
OH, and cool story, an animator that works on Avatar and his wife actually came and bought the Air Nation pendant!! AND I MISSED IT. MY SISTER SOLD IT TO THEM WHEN I WAS IN THE OTHER ROOM. xD But still, very kewl! <3
Long process! xD In short, in metalworking class I cut the designs out with a handsaw, put solder (thin metal) between them then blasted 'em with a torch to melt the pieces together. @w@ Lots o' fun!
